This page is the beginning of a research project to gather information for a book and movie on the adventures and missions of the 231st Army Reserve Unit  This 182 man medium boat unit was called to active duty out of St. Petersburg, Florida in May of 1968.  All the men that served on this active duty mission are Pre Paid Published Life Members of www.CombatVets.net.  All one needs to do to activate their membership is to Click Here and fill out the forms. Governor Kirk sent our boats a Florida Flag to Fly in 1968.  Toward the end of our,  tour Chopper comes in to deliver mail and supplies, (the flag is worst for wear).
